Netholi Meen Fry / Anchovies Fried Kerala Style is the most favorite Kerala fish recipe. Let's see how we can prepare it..........

Ingredients:
  1. Nethili meen / anchovies - 250gm.
  2. Oil.
For Marinade:

  1. Shallots paste– 2 tsp.
  2. Garlic paste – 2 tsp.
  3. Ginger paste – 2 tsp.
  4. Green chilly paste – 2 tsp.
  5. Red chilli powder  - 2 tsp.
  6. Turmeric powder – ½ tsp.
  7. Salt to taste.

Methods of Preparation:

  1. Clean the fish and pinch off the head part.
  2. Mix together with shallots paste, garlic paste, ginger paste, green chilly paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.Mix in with the fish and set aside for at least an hour.
  3. Heat oil to shallow fry the fish. Fry until nicely browned.
  4. At last sprinkle some green chillies and curry leaves. It gives a nice flavor to your fry.
  5. If you want crispy fish fry, fry it more time. 
  6. Serve hot with rice. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!
