Muringa Poo Mutta Thoran / Drumstick flower egg thoran

Muringa Poo Mutta Thoran 
       Muringa Poo Mutta Thoran is one of the tastiest and mouth watering dish from Kerala. It goes well with rice roti etc. Let's see how we can prepare it.

Ingredients 
  1. Drumstick flower / Muringa flowers - 2 cups.
  2. Onion – 1 cup.
  3. Green chillies – 4-5 nos.
  4. Grated coconut – ½ cup.
  5. Shallots - 1/2 cup.
  6. Garlic pods – 3-4 nos.
  7. Eggs – 2 nos. beaten and salted)
  8. Mustard seeds – ½ tsp.
  9. Dried red chillies - 3 nos
  10. Oil.
  11. Salt.

Methods of Preparation:

  1. Chop muringa flowers.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds.When the seeds start to splutter, add dried chillies and curry leaves.
  3. Then add onions and and saute until the onions turn golden brown.
  4. Add the drumstick flowers and salt, mix well. Cover and cook until the water in them has nearly evaporated.
  5. On the mean time crush coconut, garlic pods, green chillies and shallots.
  6. Transfer the coconut mixture to it. Cover the lid and cook it until the water evaporates.
  7. Add beaten egg over the mixture, stir the mixture and cover the pan for a few seconds.
  8.  Now our muginga poo mutta thoran is ready to serve.
  9. Serve with rice or roti.
  10. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
