Serves: 3 people
Ingredients
- For the Basic Fried Rice
- Basmathi Rice cooked – 3 cups.
- Onion- 1 cup.
- Bell Pepper – ½ cup.
- Green peas – ½ cup.
- Green Beans – ½ cup.
- Carrots – ½ cup.
- Cabbage – ½ cup.
- Spring onion – ½ cup.
- Garlic – 1 tsp.
- Ginger – 1 tsp.
- Coriander leaves.
- Soy Sauce – 1 tbspn.
- Sesame Oil- 2 tbspn.
- Pepper Powder – 1 tsp.
- Salt.
Methods of Preparation:
- Cook the basmathi rice (cook about ¾ level until grains are easily separated).
- Heat a wok, add the sesame oil, followed by ginger, garlic and green chillies, fry until nice aromas are coming.
- Then add onion, bell pepper, green peas, green beans, carrots and cabbage. And stir well.
- Now our vegetables are half cooked (vegetables to be cooked but still crunchy),
- Ten add cooked rice to the vegetable mixture. Mix well.
- On the top of it sprinkle the coriander leaves, spring onion, soy sauce, pepper powder and salt. Mix gently.
- Now our fried rice is ready to serve. Serve with Vegetable Manchurian or any other side dish of your choice.
