Gobi Manchurian

       
Gobi Manchurian 
   Gobi Manchurian is a very popular Indo-Chinese dish. This is one of the most favorite dishes for me. Let's see how we can prepare it..........

Ingredients:
1.Cauliflower florets, blanched in hot water - 1 cup.
2. Green bell pepper, finely chopped - 1 no.
3. Coriander leaves, for garnishing – few
4. Salt - to taste
5. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
6. Ginger - ½ tsp.
7. Garlic - ½ tsp.
8. Green chillies - ½ tsp.
9. Onions, finely chopped – 1.
10. Dark Soya sauce - ½ tsp.
11. Chilly  sauce /hot Sauce - ½ tsp.
12. Vinegar - 1 tbsp.
13.All purpose flour - ½ cup.
14.Cornstarch – 3 tsp.
15.Oil for deep frying.
13. Tomato Sauce – 1 tsp.
14. Chilly Powder – 1tsp.
15.Water.

Method of Preparation:
1. Cut cauliflower into florets and blanch them in hot water.
2.For making the batter, in a bowl, add all-purpose flour and cornstarch, salt, pepper powder. Add little water and make into a thick paste.
3.Pour the batter on the cauliflower florets and mix.
4.Heat oil in a pan , when the oil is hot, deep fry the batter coated florets until they becomes crispy.
5.For making the sauce,  add oil in a pan, add chopped onions ,finely chopped ginger and garlic celery, chopped green chillies, salt, and  sauté until transparent.
6.Add bell pepper (optional), crushed pepper, dark soya sauce, sugar, vinegar, chilli paste, chilli sauce and mix well.
7.Add fried cauliflower florets into the sauce and toss well.
8.Sprinkle some coriander leaves and finely chopped spring onions and toss well.
9.Serve hot.
