Green Peas Masala |
Green peas masala is one of the super delicious vegetarian dish. It goes
well with chapathi, appam, dosa, parotta, pathiri, idiyappam etc. Let's see how we can prepare this dish.........

Ingredients
1.Dry Green Peas -
1 cup (soaked over night.)
2.Onions - 2 nos
3. Tomato - medium.
4.Greenchillies- 3 nos.
5. Ginger -
A small piece
6.Garlic pods
- 4 nos.
7.Corianderleave
8.
Curryleaves.
9.
Mint leaves.
10.Garam
masala powder - 1/4 tsp
11.Corianderpowder -
1 tsp
12.
Chillypowder
– 1tsp
13.Turmericpowder - 1/4 tsp
14.Black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
15.Oil
16.Salt.

Method of
Preparation:
1.Soak
green peas for 6- 8 hours or till soft.
2.Heat
oil in pan, add finely chopped onions, crushed garlic and ginger pieces,
green chillies and some salt. Stir well until the onions become brown.
3.Add
tomato, curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves mint leaves and stir well.
4.When tomato become mashed add coriander powder, chilly powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder, garam masala and
stir well, till the aroma of masala comes out.
5.Add
soaked green peas, enough amount of salt and water. Allow it to cook.
6.Now our green peas masala is ready to serve.
7.Serve
Green Peas Curry with chappathis or parathas.
