Kerala parota is one of the famous dish from Kerala. Let's see how we can prepare this.............

Ingredients :
1.
All purpose flour / Maida – 3 cups.
2.
Eggs – 1.
3.
Milk – 1 cup.
4.
Curd – 2 tsp.
5.
Salt.
6.
Oil.
7.
Water.
8.
Sugar ( optional).
Method of preparation:
In a bowl, mix together with all purpose flour (maida), egg,
sugar, curd and milk. Make it to a loose dough similar to that of chappathi. Apply
some oil to prevent drying. Knead the dough till it becomes soft and smooth.
By using a wet cloth, cover the dough and keep it aside for 4 – 5
hours.
After 4-5 hours, rub oil on a clean surface, knead the dough again. Make large balls by using this dough. Allow it to rest for some more time.( 5-10 mins.)
By using oil. beat or roll each balls into round and thin ( like chappathi).
Spread some oil on it, pleat each rolled balls (chapathi) to lengthwise. And twist it into a round.

By applying pressure flatten these twisted balls / roll it by using a roller.
Heat an iron pan, grease with oil, transfer the flattened parotta to the pan and cook both sides.
For making parotta to soft and separating their layers, keep three or four parotta
on top of each other and forcefully compress them between your palms.
Now our tasty parota is ready. Like this prepare all parottas.

Serve parotta hot with Chicken curry, Fish curry, Beef roast etc.
