Chicken Tikka Recipe

Chicken Tikka
       Chicken Tikka is a traditional and very popular Indian Chicken dish. The word  ‘Tikka” means bits, pieces or chunks. Let’s see how we can prepare it……….

Ingredients:
1.   Boneless Chicken- 200 g
2.   Tikka BBQ Powder – 200 mg.
3.   Ginger – 1’’ piece.
4.   Garlic – 4 piece.
5.   Green chillies – 4 piece.
6.   Olive oil – 1 tbspn.
7.   Lemon juice – 2 tsp.
8.   Yoghurt – 3 tsp.
9.   Onion.
10.  Green pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Chop boneless chicken to uniform cubes.
2. Add ginger, garlic, green chillies, bbq powder, lemon juice, Onion, green pepper, yoghurt and olive oil.
3.  Mix it nicely and add the chicken into it and rub the marinate in to it.
4.  Keep it for 4 – 6 hours.
5. Soak the bamboo skewers in water for  15 to 20 mins. ( to avoid getting burnt )
6. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewer one by one and keep ready
7.  Place it on the grill racks
8.  Roast the chicken until it is browned on all sides and tender.
9.  Serve with lime or sprinkle lime juice over it before serving.
