Pazham Appam / Banana Fry |
Plantain ( Cheru pazham) fry is one of easy and
delicious snack from kerala. We can prepare it by using very less numbers of
ingredients. Let’s see how we can prepare it……..

Ingredients:
1. All
purpose flour – ½ cup.
2. Rice
flour – 1 cup.
3. Plantain
– 2 nos.
4. Jagerry
– 1cup.
5. Salt
– one pinch.
6. Coconut
oil – to deep fry.
Method
of Preparation
1.Soak jaggery in half a cup hot water until it dissolves and
filter the impurities.
2.Take a wide pan to this add all
purpose flour, rice flour, jaggery syrup, peeled plantain and a pinch of salt.
Mix well and make a loose dough.
3.Keep it for one hour.
4.Heat oil in a pan for deep fry it.
5.Use a scoop to take the batter. Put
scoop by scoop batter in the oil. Fry till they turn golden brown.
6.Our pazham appam is ready to serve,
you can serve it with hot tea.
