Curry Leaves Rice
   Curry leaves (sweet neem leaves)  is an important seasoning in South Indian cooking. It has lot of medicinal value also. Like,
1.     It is a good remedy for nausea and indigestion.
2.     Along with lime juice,  it reduces lose weight. 
3.     Helps to improve eye sight and prevent cataract.
4.    Curry leaves are also good for hair growth and colour. It will prevent pre mature greying of hair. 
   So, today’s our recipe, curry leaves rice is a very healthy rice with many benefits.Let’s see how can prepare it……….

Ingredient:
1.       Basmathi Rice (Cooked) – 1cup.
2.       Fresh Curry Leaves  - ½ cup.
3.       Grated coconut – ¼ cup.
4.       Green Chilly – 2 nos.
5.       Tamarind – a small piece.
6.       Salt.
7.       Ghee / coconut oil.
Method of Preparation:
1.   Wash and dry the curry leaves.
2.   Take coconut, curry leaves and tamarind in a blender, grind it by adding some water. The paste should be little coarse instead of very smooth.Keep it aside.
3.  Heat ghee / coconut oil in a pan. When it is ready, add whole red chilly and curry leaves.
4.  Transfer the grounded paste to the pan. Add enough amount of salt and allow it to boil.
5.  When the water evaporates, Add cooked basmathi rice to this mixture. Mix Well.
6.   Cook on a medium flame for 5 - 7 mins, Stirring in between.
7.   Sprinkle some curry leaves and close the lid.
8.   Serve hot with any pickle and papad. Enjoy!!!!
