Chakka Kuru Manga Curry / Jackfruit Seed, Raw mango Curry

Ingredients
  1. Raw green mango – 1.  
  2. Jackfruit seeds  – 1.5 cups.
  3. Green chillies – 3
  4. Salt – To taste
  5. For making paste:
  6. Grated Coconut  – Around 3/4  cup 
  7. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  8. Red chilly powder – 1 tsp.
  9. Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
  10. Pearl onion – 1-2.
  11. Garlic – 2 cloves.
  12. Tempering:
        Mustard seeds -1/2 tsp.
        Dry Red Chillies – 2 

        Curry leaves – A few 
        Coconut oil – 2 – 3 tsp
Method of Preparation:

  1. Cook jack fruit seeds with 1 cup water. You can also use pressure cooker for this purpose.
  2. Take coconut, turmeric powder, red chilly, pearl onions, garlic and cumin seeds in a grinder,  and make it to a fine paste. Keep aside.
  3. Take cooked jack fruit seeds, green mango, green chilles, salt and enough amount of water. Cover it and cook until they are soft and tender.
  4. Mash the jackfruit seeds and mango slightly.
  5. Reduce the heat, add grounded coconut paste, mix well and allow it to cook until its raw taste is gone ( 2 – 3 minutes). Switch off the lame.
  6. Heat oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds, when mustard seeds splutters add dry red chillies and curry leaves. Pour this tempering over the curry and mix well.
  7. Now our tasty and yummy jack fruit seed and mango curry is ready serve.
  8. Serve hot with plain rice.
  9. Enjoy!!!
