Ingredients
For 2 Uthappams
- Idli batter - 1/2 cup and a little more
- Onion - 1/2 cup finely chopped
- Coriander leaves.
- Green chilli - 1-2 minced
- Ginger - 1 inch piece
- sesame seed oil.
- Salt.
Method of preparation:
- Combine onion, green chilli, ginger and some salt in a bowl.
- Heat a pan. Once the pan is heated well, pour a ladle of batter and spread it to form a thick dosa. Do not spread it to thin.
- You see lot of holes on the top, sprinkle the onion mixture and coriander leaves all over the dosa.
- Drizzle a tsp of oil around the dosa. Once the the base is cooked well and flip the dosa to the other side.
- Gently press it with the dosa ladle or spatula.
- Once it is cook, remove the dosa from the pan and serve hot with chutney or sambar.
- Enjoy!!!
