Ingredients:
For Egg layer:
- Egg - 3 nos.
- Sugar - 4 tbsp
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
For maida Layer:
- Maida - 2 tbsp.
- Milk - 1 cup.
- Salt - as required
Other ingredients:
- Cashew nuts - 10 nos.
- Raisins – 10 nos.
- Ghee- as required.

Method of Preparation:
- For preparing Egg layer:- Beat eggs, then add sugar and cardamom powder. Again beat it well. Keep it aside.
- For preparing maida layer:- Mix maida with salt. Add milk little by little and make a loose batter. Keep it aside.
- Roast cashew nuts and raisins and keep it aside.
- Get ready with maida layer, egg layer, ghee, roasted cashew nuts and raisins.
- Get ready with your steamer. Grease a pan or plate with ghee.
- To make first layer - Pour a spoon full of milk-maida mix and spread it to uniform thickness, cook covered.
- Pour the egg mix on top of it and spread it to uniform thickness to make the second layer, after a few minutes ( just enough time to set the first layer).
- Add ghee and pour maida mixture again as did for the first layer.
- Repeat the process to make alternative layers.
- Give enough time to steam each layer. (to set )
- You can add food colors to different layers if you like.
- Decorated the top layer with cashew nuts and raisins.
- Allow it cook for some more time.
- Then remove it from steamer and allow it to cool.
- Cut it into desired shapes and serve.
