Ingredients: 
  • Egg - 4    no.
  • Semolina / Rava(Sooji) - 100 gms.
  • Ghee -1 tbspn.
  • Sugar - 50 gm
  • Cashew Nuts – 10 nos.
  • Raisins – 10 nos.
  • Cardamom Powder – ½ tsp.

Method of preparation:
  1. Heat semolina in a pan, and keep it aside.
  2. Beat 4 egg in a blender / food processor. Add sugar and cardamom powder to it, beat it again. Make it fluffy. Transfer semolina to this and mix well.
  3. Heat a sauce pan / pressure cooker. When heated pour ghee, rotate the pan. Pour semolina egg mixture in to it. Cover it, allow it to cook in a very low flame.
  4.  Garnish with cashew nuts and raisins after 3-5 mins.
  5. Cook for half an hour in low flame. ( If you are using pressure cooker, put the lid on the cooker without weight )
  6. The batter will come up when it is cooked. Prick in the middle with a kinfe to check whether it is properly cooked.

  7. Separate semolina cake from pan by using a spatula. Allow it to cool and cut it to desired shape.
  8. Now our easy and tasty semolina cake is ready to serve.
  9. Serve when it is cooled. Enjoy!!!

  2. Its a very a nice recipe but even when all the steps are followed just as it is i couldnt achieve the fluffiness of the tharipola as you have shown?!! I was totally disappointed to see a flat and hardened semolina cake. If you are adding baking powder then you need to mention it in your videos pls.
