Ingredients
  • Butter Milk / Curd – 1 cup.
  • Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
  •  Salt- To taste   
 For tempering:
  • Coconut oil – 2 Tbspn.
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tsp.
  • Whole red chilli – 3-4 nos.
  • Shallots—2 Tbspn, chopped.
  • Curry leaves.
  • Fenugreek seeds – ½ tsp.
To make coconut paste:
  • Grated coconut – 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilies – 4.
  • Garlic – 2 nos.

Method of Preparation:
  1. Grind coconut with cumin seeds, green chilies and garlic to a very fine paste.
  2. Heat 2 tbspn. of coconut oil in an earthen pot. Add mustrd seeds, when it splutter, then add fenugreek seeds, whole red chilly, shallots and curry leaves. Sauté until shallots becomes brown color.
  3. Then transfer grounded coconut paste to it. Allow it to boil. Add turmeric powder, cook it for few mins.
  4. Pour beaten curd / butter milk when it starts boil. Stir continously about 10 mins. in a medium flame.
  5. Switch off the flame and add enough amount of salt. Mix well and cover the lid with 5 – 10 mins.
  6. Now our yummy and tasty pulissery  is ready to serve. Serve hot with rice. Enjoy!!!!
