Ingredients:
- Unripe plaintain / ethakka – 3 nos.
- Turmeric powder – ½ tsp.
- Salt – 1 tbspn.
- Coconut oil – 1 L.
- Water - 1/4 cup.
Method of Preparation:

- Peel off plantain skin gently. Cut it into half slices vertically, again cut it in to ¼ inch slices.
- Add ½ tsp. of turmeric powder to it and let it rest for 30 mins. Drain it and keep it aside.
- Mix 1 tbspn. of salt in ¼ cup of water, Keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, let it reach smoking point
- Transfer drained plantain slices to the hot oil.
- Sprinkle salt water over the chips. Allow it dry. Then remove chips from oil when it done.
- Now our tasty banana chips is ready to serve. Let it cool, and store in airtight containers. Enjoy!!!.
