 Nice pathiri / Ari pathiri / Malabar pathiri is a traditional Kerala Muslim Dish. You can serve this pathiri with meat curry, chicken curry, coconut milk etc. Let's see how we can prepare it…………….

Ingredients
1.     Rice Flower – 2 cups.
2.     Water – 2 cups.
3.     Salt.
Method of Preparation:
Sieve the roasted rice powder using a very fine mesh.
Boil 2 cups of water in a vessel, Add enough amount of salt to it. (For 1 cup of rice flour take 1 cup of water)
When it starts boil add the rice flour with constant stirring. Keep it on simmer for ½ - 1 mins. and turn of the flame. Close the lid and keep for 5- 10 minutes.
Apply water to your hand, then knead the dough thoroughly. The dough still hot, during the time of kneading, then only the pathiri will be soft. Knead it until the dough becomes smooth and less sticky.
    Make small balls (lime sized) by using this dough. Flatten it in between your hands. 
Apply some rice flour to both sides of balls( flattened dough) and flatten it by using a pathiri press / roller.
Heat a pan (earthen),  When it become hot, place each pathiri on it. Flip over after 10-15 seconds. Wait till it puffs up. Wait for another 30 seconds. Do not allow the pathiris to get burned. It should be white in color.
Now our Pathiri are ready to serve.
Like this prepare all pathiries.
Serve it with Chicken curry, Beef Curry, mutton curry, coconut milk, vegetable curry etc. Enjoy!!!!
