Pazham Pori / Ethakka Appam / Banana fritters 
        Pazhampori is a traditional Kerala snack. It is ripped bananas (Ethappazham) coated with flour and deep fried. Let's see how we can prepare it....

Preparation time : 10 min.
Cooking time:  10 min.
Serves 2 : About 8-10 pieces
Ingredients
1.Ethapazham / Nenthra pazham / Ripe plaintain – 3 medium size.
2. All purpose flour or maida  -1 cup.
3. Sugar -1 tsp.
4. Baking soda -1/4 tsp.
5. Salt.
6. Water.
7. Turmeric powder  - ¼ tsp.
8.Coconut oil to deep fry.
Method of Preparation:
1. Take flour, sugar, salt, turmeric powder and baking soda. Mix well.
2. Add water and stir well.
3. Slice the plantain into midway vertically. and dip it into the batter.
4. Heat the coconut oil (for the authentic taste) in a pan for deep frying.
7. When the oil is just short of smoking hot, add in the banana pieces coated with the batter. 
8. Fry until golden brown and drain on paper napkins.
9. Serve hot with warm with tea. Enjoy!!!!
