Chena fry / Yam Fry
      Yam fry/ chena fry is one of the delicious vegetarian side dish form Kerala. It goes well with rice. Let’s see how we can prepare it……….

 Ingredients
1.     Chena / yam – 1 cup, cut into cubes.
2.     Chilly powder – 1 tsp.
3.     Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp.
4.     Salt.
5.     Oil.

Method of  Preparation:

1.Take yam in a bowl, add chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix nicely. Keep it for 1 hour.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Deep fry the marinated yam pieces.
3. Serve it as a side dish for rice.
