Coriander rice / Kothamalli Sadam
        Coriander rice is a very simple and quick rice recipe with fresh coriander leaves. Let's see how we can prepare it...........

Ingredients
1. Basmati rice/any rice - 1 cup.
2. Coriander leaves / Juice- 1 cup.
3. Onion -1 cup chopped.
4. Ginger - 1 inch piece.
5. Green chilli - 2-3.
6. Garlic – 2-3cloves.
7. Salt as required.
8. Ghee – 2-3 tsp.
9. Roasted chanadal – 3 tsp.
10.Cinnamon pieces -  2-3 pieces.
11.Cardamom seeds – 2-3 no.
12.Cloves – 3-4 no.
13.Curry leaves.


Method of Preparation


1.Take ghee in a wide pan. Add chanadal. Roast it.
2.On the same pan add cinnamon pieces, cardamom seeds,  cloves, curry leaves, chopped onion, ginger, garlic paste and saute till it transparent.
3.Then add the grounded paste, add salt and saute till the raw smell goes.
4.Add washed rice saute it well. Add boiled water and salt, allow it to cook. ( for one cup of rice add one cup of rice.)
5.Now our coriander rice is ready to serve. You can serve it with any raita or pickle.
