Tomato fry
is a simple dish made with tomato. Here i am following my grandma's recipe for preparing it. You can use this as a side dish for plain
rice. Let’s see how we can prepare it......

Ingredients:
1.
Tomato (nicely ripped) - 2 nos.
2.
Green chilis – 4 nos.
3.
Mustard seeds – 1tsp.
4.
Oil
5.
Curry leaves.
6.
Turmeric powder -1/4 tsp .
7.
Salt.
8.
Red chilly powder – ½ tsp.
Methods
of Preparation:
1.Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, let it splutter, then add red
chillies and curry leaves.
2.Add
turmeric powder, chilly powder and green chillies. Stire well.
3.Then add chopped tomato and enough amount of salt. Stir well. Cover with lid and cook
until the tomatoes turn mushy,(5 to 6 minutes.)Now remove the lid and cook until it turns thick and the oil separates.
4. Now out grandma's style tomato fry is ready to serve.Serve
hot with rice. Enjoy!!!!
