Ingredients
  • Riped Mango – 3 nos.
  • Green chilly – 5 nos. slited
  •  Curd – 1 cup.
  • Salt- To taste   

For tempering:
  • Coconut oil – 2 Tbspn.
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tsp.
  • Whole red chilli – 3-4 nos.
  • Curry leaves.

To make coconut paste -
  •    Grated coconut – 1cup
  •    Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  •    Garlic – 4 nos.
  •    Red chilly powder – 2 Tbspn.
  •    Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp.

Method of Preparation:
  1. Take riped mangos, green chillly, enough amount of salt and water in an earthen pot. Close the lid and allow it to cook.
  2. Mean time grinds grated coconut with cumin seeds, green chilies, garlic, turmeric powder and chilly powder to a very fine paste. Add this grounded paste to our cooked mangoes and allow it to boil.
  3. Switch off the flame when it starts boil.
  4. Pour beaten curd when it starts boil. Stir continuously about 10 mins. Then add enough amount of salt. Mix well.
  5. Heat 2 tbspn. of coconut oil in an earthen pot. Add mustrd seeds, when it splutter, then add fenugreek seeds, whole red chilly, curry leaves. Pour this tempering over the mampazha pulissery we already prepared.
  6. Switch off the flame and add enough amount of salt. Mix well and cover the lid with 5 – 10 mins.
  7. Now our yummy and tasty mampazha pulissery  is ready to serve. Serve hot with rice. Enjoy!!!!
